The sweetness of strawberries matches with the bitterness of arugula, although any assertive green will work. Try with this luscious salad with handcrafted local feta, or goat cheese.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups strawberries hulled
  • 4 cups arugula may use salad green of your choice
  • 2 ounces crumbled smoked blue cheese
  • 1 cup chopped fresh asparagus or sugar snap peas
  • 4 tablespoons Downeaster Maple Mustard Marinade

Instructions
  1. To prepare the salad: Add the arugula, asparagus and crumbled smoked blue cheese to a bowl. Slice the strawberries and add to the bowl. Toss with the Downeaster: Maple Mustard Marinade and serve.
