The Product Story

Deer Isle Cider Company produces a sparkling hard cider made with handpicked wild and heirloom apples foraged from the island of Deer Isle and other Maine locations.  We search out abandoned orchards, wild trees and underutilized backyard fruit.  Each year’s batch is unique, reflecting the diversity of our sources.  A two stage fermentation process, with the final step in the bottle, produces a naturally carbonated, full bodied, complex and richly flavored sparkling wine.
